Swift Responses to Your Returns Request
As a long-time dealer of luxury bags in the Philippines, you have our full, undivided support when it comes to your purchase! Mommy Micah is committed to providing a smooth and hassle-free returns process for you, such that every request is within reason and done in good faith.
Mommy Micah only accepts returns and swaps within a 7-day period after receipt of purchase and only under the following circumstances.
Rules for Return and Refund
- Present Proof of Transaction – Clients must provide original receipt or proof of transaction to be eligible for a product refund.
- Undeclared Flaws – Item(s) received contain undeclared flaws (within valid reason) may be exchanged or issued a store credit. On the other hand, refunds are only approved under certain conditions. For undeclared flaws, we urge you to notify us within 72 hours (weekdays only) from receipt of purchase.
Kindly bear in mind that Mommy Micah sells both pre-loved and brand new luxury bags. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so we always declare any imperfections an item may have before you seal the deal.
- Authenticity Guarantee – Item(s) received that are proven inauthentic with valid proof from a reputable third-party authenticator, it may be returned with 100% money back guaranteed.
- Credit Card Purchase – For item(s) returned within valid reason, but purchased using Credit Card, expect a refund of the product total; however, the service charge will not be refunded.
- Item Swap & Store Credit – Experiencing buyer’s remorse? We accept item swaps within 24 hours from receipt or a store credit with a charge of ₱1,500.
- Shipping Costs – Shipping costs for the process shall be covered by the client unless the fault or cause of return falls on our part.
Eligibility for Returns
Returns will only be processed if the item meets the following conditions:
- Incorrect item(s) received
- Item(s) proven inauthentic by a reliable third-party authentication service such as Entrupy, Legit Grails, Real Authentication, or Zeko.
- Major undisclosed flaws that were not declared in the product description (e.g. tarnished hardware, large stains, cracked glazing, large stains, frayed fabric).
- For visible defects such as undisclosed stains, creases, and marks, report the issue to us within 24 hours from receipt of purchase.
- For non-visible defects such as structural and hidden flaws, report the issue to us within 7 days from receipt of purchase.
Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not acceptable for returns:
- Minor signs of wear
- Bags that have been used, repaired, or altered any time after purchase.
- Items without its original packaging, tags, accessories, or inclusions.
Return and Refund Process
Please be reminded that our products at Mommy Micah consist of both pre-loved and brand new items. We continuously work hard to provide accurate and high-quality photos, descriptions, and ratings of our items.
Along with this, we also firmly encourage clients and all members of our community to read our product descriptions thoroughly, examine photos and the actual product attentively, and declare the correct size for your orders.
If any problems arise, we are glad to accommodate your concerns and requests made within reason through our smooth return and refund process as follows.
1. Provide proof
We only process requests alongside proof of the defects. Contact us immediately through our primary communication channels (Instagram, Facebook, or Viber) with your concern.
Clients must provide:
- Full unboxing video that shows the package and item(s) upon delivery.
- Clear and well-lighted photos that show the item issues.
For authenticity concerns, valid proof from a reputable third-party authentication service.
2. Wait for our review and approval
Our team will immediately conduct a thorough process review for the initiated request.
For Approved Returns:
- Clients must return the item within 3 days of the approval notice. You may return this by scheduling a personal visit or shipping through a trusted courier.
Ensure that the item is in the same condition as received, including all original accessories and inclusions.
3. Process your refund
Once we receive and verify your returned items, the refund request will be processed within 7-14 business days.
We offer full refund for authenticity-related returns, while store credit, replacement, or item swaps are awarded for other cases.
Rights and Disclaimers
Our shop reserves the rights to refuse requests for returns under the following circumstances:
- We can only accept returns within 7 days from purchase. Any item reported beyond this time period is no longer eligible for returns.
- We cannot accept returns for orders with any element of customization
- We cannot accept returns for items purchased through sales or live selling discounts. Any sale from the said events are deemed final.
- We cannot accept returns for items where a different size is required or requested. Clients are responsible for placing orders with the correct size before checking out.
- We are not liable for damage incurred during the shipment process (except for personal deliveries). Clients are encouraged to avail of shipping insurance via their courier of choice at their personal expense.
Important Information for Buyers
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us as soon as possible. Order cancellations must be communicated any time before your item(s) are shipped.
NOTE: This is not applicable to layaway items.
- Item Change – If you wish to change your item and there is no fault on our part, you will be subject to a Change Item Charge of ₱ 1,500.
- Response Time – We process requests for cancellations within 1-2 business days.
Common Luxury Product Issues
We are aware of common product issues that may arise in specific items; however, Mommy Micah only processes returns that apply to the aforementioned conditions. This section contains our brief guidelines on the factors that affect special case-scenarios related to manufacturing limitations, product traits, and other external factors.
Sizing
- It is the primary responsibility of clients to ensure the right sizing for their orders.
- Unfortunately, we cannot process returns that require a specific change of size. If you have trouble figuring out the best size or fit, we’re always happy to help you out!
- We highly recommend clients to request additional information or photos to demonstrate the sizing of bags, shoes, and other accessories prior to purchasing.
Pre-Loved / Secondhand Footwear
- All our preloved luxury footwear are sold “as is”. We always ensure these shoes are stored in an optimal environment to maintain their condition; however, we cannot be certain of their sturdiness and longevity.
- These issues commonly arise from degradation of material over a certain period of time. It is a risk fully recognized by selling any pre-loved item.
- Given this nature, we are not liable for any damage that may occur after purchase.
Microchip Technology
- Due to various manufacturing techniques, discreet placement, and the use of unreliable third-party scanners, there have been increased cases of undetectable microchipped luxury bags (RFID or NFC).
- While this is a true concern, we unfortunately do not accept returns based on issues with microchip detectability. We are highly confident in providing verified, 100% authentic items, regardless of their scannability.
Louis Vuitton (LV) Monogram Issues
- LV products have a common issue of peeling, particularly for the monogram and ebene pattern. This is primarily due to temperature exposure and the natural weathering of material.
- As this is a recognized issue, we unfortunately cannot accept returns based on this particular case. We are committed to thorough inspections, careful storage and handling of all our products, regardless of its brand or model.
Louis Vuitton Odor Issues
- LV products have also exhibited a strong, peculiar odor. This issue arises from the nature of the materials used in crafting their products. It is also a common problem with brand new LV products
- Similar to the monogram concerns, this is also a recognized issue, thus we are unable to process any returns requested under this condition.
