2. Valentino Locò Pink Leather Bag – (₱90,000)

This bag was paired together with an all-pink outfit also made by Valentino during a flashback scene where she was interning at the Queens Department Store. A black version with crystals (₱130,000) also appears during the scene where she meets with her doctor together with Hyun-Woo after finding out about her brain tumor.

3. Ferragamo Iconic Top Handle Bag – (₱140,000)

This luxury bag was matched with Hae-In’s light blue outfit when she first got the bad news from the doctor in the pilot episode. The white version of this bag (₱150,000) also appeared in her scene before meeting with Hercyna’s owner. She is also seen carrying it in her awkward conversation with Yoon Eun-Seong (actor Park Sung-Hoon) in episode 8.

Hae-in is seen carrying the bag in episode 2 overhearing her parents in the garden. She brought another embellished version of the V-sling bag with her in episode 7 when she found out that Hyun-Woo had secretly been giving money to a department store employee whose mother passed away.

This bag is a little bigger than Valentino’s Locò bag. It has a longer strap, a top handle, and more space but maintains its stylish look. 

5. Brillant Black MM Delvaux  – (₱500,000)

Hae-in is seen with this bag in episode 3 where she meets with Hyun-Woo’s older siblings. In episode 4 she takes an ivory version with her that matches her all-white outfit going to her father-in-law’s reelection campaign as head of Yongdu-ri.

Chanel is a world-renowned fashion brand based in France founded in 1910. Most commonly known for their fragrances and accessories, they also create high-quality designer bags. This Chanel backpack is from the 2022 collection which features quilted aged calfskin leather and gold tone chain-links. 

7. Small Lady Dior Bag – (₱400,000)

This bag is with her in episode 5 in the flashback scene at the restaurant where Hyun-Woo’s older sister tries to pay her to break up with him when they are still dating. She also carries a cherry red version of the bag (₱390,000) in another flashback when Hyun-Woo proposes to her at the aquarium in episode 8.

This is the most iconic bag from Dior. It is created from lambskin leather cuts, sewn together in a Cannage quilt. Giving it a sophisticated yet balanced look. The black gives a more sophisticated, opulent look. While the red is very vibrant and eye-catching. 

8. Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag – (₱270,000)

In episode 5, she is seen wearing a woven long-sleeved peach shirt from Nº21 and matching trousers with the Galleria Saffiano bag from Prada when she is caught by her aunt at the hospital.

But in episode 14, a white version is also by her side when she’s dressed in white having second thoughts about the surgery because she can possibly lose her memories.

Episode 7 shows her in a stunning red dress and a double-breasted wool blazer crafted by Balmain. Including an 18-carat rose gold and diamond Serpenti Viper necklace, rose gold Serpenti Viper earrings, and a yellow gold and diamond Serpenti Viper bracelet, all by Bvlgari.

However, its sheer popularity makes it more commonplace to see fake Chanel Boy bags circulating in the market. In fact, just a few days ago, I received this particular bag from a client of mine who asked me to authenticate it because she’s unsure whether it’s a legit Chanel or not. After Entrupy authentication, I then found out that it was indeed a replica.

As an owner of a Chanel Boy (in Small size) myself, I compared my authentic bag with my client’s counterfeit one to guide you on what to look for when buying this particular style. Read on to learn the 5 ways to spot a fake Chanel Boy bag from a fake.

5 Ways to Spot a Fake Chanel Boy Bag

1. Hardware

Upon initial inspection of my client’s Chanel Boy bag, I didn’t expect it was a fake as it looks eerily similar to my own original bag. I did notice some slight differences and one of these is the hardware.

That’s why it’s important to carefully inspect the color of the hardware. In the fake Chanel Boy, the hardware is much more golden in color compared to the authentic’s slightly faded gold chain straps. This situation also applies to most fake luxury bags, like the majority of Prada bags and the Gucci Marmont in particular.

So if you see a Chanel bag with a bright, vivid gold-colored hardware, it’s a telltale sign that it’s a counterfeit.

2. Shoulder Strap

Another thing you should look out for in a fake Chanel Boy is the shoulder leather strap. Although I’m not really sure if this is a foolproof way to differentiate a fake Chanel from the original, I’ve seen a lot of luxury bag vloggers include this particular detail.

Simply look at the shoulder strap’s two adjustable buttons. If they are located at the left of the strap, it’s a real Chanel Boy. However, if you found out that the buttons are on the right side, it’s most probably a replica. 

Disclaimer: I’m not certain if this detail applies to all fake Chanel bags but it’s definitely one thing you should consider.

3. Bottom of the Bag

This specific part of the Chanel Boy bag is the most obvious indicator that can tell if your bag is fake or not.

If you look closely underneath the Chanel flap, you can see the gold hardware protruding from the leather exterior just in between the clasp. On the other hand, the authentic Chanel Boy is excellently crafted without the gold hardware appearing at the bottom of the front flap.

4. Engraved Logo at the Side of the Bag

After carefully examining the bottom part of the bag, you should also look out for the side of the bag. Simply inspect the engraved Chanel logo on the hardware.

The fake Chanel Boy’s engraving used a thinner font while the authentic has thicker lettering. This particular detail is really more obvious if you compare the bags side-by-side.

5. Authenticity Card

In today’s market, it’s sad to see that most fake luxury bags also often come with their own respective authenticity cards in order to mimic the authentic designer handbags. This fact is also very scary because these so-called authenticity cards look exactly the same as the original’s and unless you have a genuine luxury bag with you, you won’t really tell the difference.

The same applies to the Chanel Boy bag. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a very small difference in the font size used in the authenticity card. The fake has slightly bigger lettering in comparison to the authentic. However, like I said, you can’t really tell the cards apart unless you compare them side-by-side.

Origin of the Novel Coronavirus

According to WHO, COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a recently discovered coronavirus. Health officials refer to this new virus as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

Most experts believed that COVID-19 came from animals, like the link between MERS and SARS. This is due to the fact that SARS-CoV-2 has ties to snakes, bats, and pangolins. 

In fact, many people who got the disease early were linked to a large live seafood and animal market in Wuhan, China. With that said, it is not fully understood where exactly COVID-19 originated.

How Does the Novel Coronavirus Spread

The first cases of COVID-19 may have come from eating exotic animals (bats and pangolins) sold in a wet market. However, the novel coronavirus now mainly spreads from person to person.

When an infected individual coughs or sneezes, he or she can then pass on droplets of novel coronavirus to other people as far as 6 feet away.

People can also get COVID-19 when they touch a surface where the virus is on, then touch their mouths, noses, or eyes.

• Avoid touching your face. If you touch surfaces with COVID-19 then touch your nose, mouth, or eyes, the virus can easily get into your body.

• Clean and disinfect your environment. Regularly disinfect surfaces you touch often (doorknobs, light switches, tables, toilets, faucets, and sinks) by using a mix of household bleach and water.

Is There a Treatment for COVID-19

There’s no particular treatment for COVID-19. 

If you have a mild case of COVID-19, you need to ease your symptoms by taking care of yourself through rest, fluids, and fever control. You can also take over-the-counter medicine for a sore throat, body aches, and fever.

For those with severe symptoms of COVID-19, you need to be cared for in the hospital.

1. Sign in to your account. Or if you still don’t have an account, sign up now!

2. Select the settings gear icon found in the top right of your Instagram feed.

3. Click “Create Channel” and you’re all set up.

1. Open your selected web browser and go to Instagram.com.

2. Sign in to your account and go to your profile.

3. Click IGTV to get redirected to a page.

4. Select “Get Started” and follow the instructions.

How to Create Videos on IGTV?

Creating videos for IGTV is similar to the process behind IG stories. You don’t actually have to make high-quality videos in order to succeed in IGTV. However, don’t be fooled as the new platform is a way to level up the content you make in your Instagram Stories.

In fact, IGTV is originally launched with vertical videos in mind but due to popular demand and some important realizations, Instagram decided to cater to horizontal (landscape) videos too! Now, more businesses can benefit from this including startups. To get you started, here are some of my tips on making engaging video content on IGTV.

1. Shoot With Your Native Camera App

Do avoid using the Instagram app itself as it limits you from getting high-quality shots. Opt to shoot videos with your native camera app instead to have more control over the shots and ultimately keep the video rolling in between takes to keep things efficient.

2. Invest in a Smartphone Mount

You may find that it’s harder to produce steady videos when shooting on your phone. In order to avoid any shaky footage, invest in a smartphone mount so you can clip it to any tripod.

3. Use a Microphone

Achieve a higher-quality sound in your IGTV videos by using a microphone. It’s especially useful if you want to record voiceovers or if audio is an integral part of your videos.

4. Edit your Videos

If you want to achieve professional-looking videos on IGTV, you need to edit them. And while there are free video editing softwares on your phone, some of them don’t support vertical videos yet and most have limited features. Use professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut on your computer instead.

Are There Limitations When Creating IGTV Video?

Unlike Instagram Stories, IGTV gives you more freedom when sharing videos with your followers. Do keep in mind these technical specs when creating a video for the app.

• • Length – 15 seconds up to 60 minutes 

Note: The whole 60 minutes is currently available for Instagram-verified accounts or those with a large following. Normal accounts have a limit of 10 minutes.

• • Size – 650MB for 10-minute videos while 3.6GB for videos up to 60 minutes
  • Orientation – Both portrait (vertical) and landscape (horizontal)
  • Aspect Ratio – Instagram recommends to use the following aspect ratio: 9:16 (for vertical videos) or 16:9 (for horizontal videos). For video thumbnails, an aspect ratio of 1:1.55 looks best.

However, do note that the display of Instagram videos is automatically cropped to an aspect ratio of 4:5 (in IG feed) or 1:1 (in IG grid)

• • Video Format – MP4 file format
  • Video Thumbnail – JPG file format

How to Upload Video on IGTV?

Now that you have probably created your very first IGTV video, it’s time to start uploading them on the platform. Here’s how you can do it.

1. From the main screen, click on the IGTV (resembling a TV) icon found on the top of your feed.

2. Tap the “+” button on the top right corner and choose a video to upload.

3. Select “Next” in the top right.

4. Type a “Title” and “Description” to let your followers know what your video is about.

5. Add a Cover Photo by tapping on the video frame at the bottom. You can choose a thumbnail from your own video or upload a new custom cover photo.

6. Click “Post” to publish your video.

How to Share an IGTV Video?

After uploading your IGTV video, you have to share it in order to keep your followers updated (whether in or outside Instagram) on your content and possibly hook other people. Read on to learn more!

• • Share Within Instagram

You can actually add your newly-uploaded IGTV video to your Instagram stories. Simply follow the steps below.

1. Open the IGTV video that you would like to share.

2. Tap the paper airplane icon

3. Select “Add Video to Your Story.”

4. Add additional text, stickers, or filters if you like.

5. Once done, tap “Send To” button.

6. Click “Your Story” then tap “Share” to post it in your stories

• • Share Outside Instagram

If you want to share your IGTV video on Facebook, Twitter, or any other sites, follow these guidelines.

1. From the IGTV menu, open the video you want to share.

2. Tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen.

3. Select “Copy Link” from the pop-up screen.

4. Paste the said IGTV video link to share it with users outside of Instagram.

Can I Earn Money on IGTV?

Yes, startups can earn a lot of money through IGTV!

However, it’s not by displaying advertisements on your videos. For now, IGTV doesn’t allow ads on its videos unlike YouTube. Rest assured, Instagram creators plan to expand the platform soon especially when it starts becoming big.
