Last but not the least, check the date code to tell if your bag is authentic or not. The real Louis Vuitton Bumbag has the date code placed on the zipper portion found on the back instead of its fake placement on the main compartment.

This technique is really helpful for those who are buying from a used physical store as you can easily spot a fake Louis Vuitton bag through the quality of its leather.

If it has a buttery and soft texture, it’s a genuine bag. Meanwhile, the counterfeit bags usually use leather that is tough which makes them heavier than the authentic bags.
