I just finished watching Queen of Tears and as a luxury bags enthusiast, I’m so excited to share with you all the designer bags featured in this series!
Actress Kim Ji-Won who plays chaebol heiress Hong Hae-in had so many memorable outfits. But most noticeable is the wide selection of luxury bags she carried throughout the series.

Hae-in’s Luxury Bag Collection in “Queen of Tears”
1. Alexander McQueen Biker Jewel Bag – (₱150,000)

This bag was briefly shown to be carried by Hae-in in the pilot episode, during the opening montage showing her and Baek Hyun-Woo’s (actor Kim Soo-Hyun) life together walking into the Queens Department Store.

This red calfskin leather Biker Mini Jewelled Satchel featuring a wide biker-inspired leather strap can be adjusted to any length. This bag comes from renowned British fashion designer Alexander McQueen known for combining traditional and modern influences into his works.
2. Valentino Locò Pink Leather Bag – (₱90,000)

This bag was paired together with an all-pink outfit also made by Valentino during a flashback scene where she was interning at the Queens Department Store. A black version with crystals (₱130,000) also appears during the scene where she meets with her doctor together with Hyun-Woo after finding out about her brain tumor.

It’s called locò, short for “locomotive” because it’s easy to carry and change based on your style. It comes with detachable handles so you can use it as a clutch, sling, or top-handle bag.
3. Ferragamo Iconic Top Handle Bag – (₱140,000)

This luxury bag was matched with Hae-In’s light blue outfit when she first got the bad news from the doctor in the pilot episode. The white version of this bag (₱150,000) also appeared in her scene before meeting with Hercyna’s owner. She is also seen carrying it in her awkward conversation with Yoon Eun-Seong (actor Park Sung-Hoon) in episode 8.

This timeless original design of this luxury bag was created in the 1990s by Fiamma Ferragamo, daughter of Salvatore Ferragamo himself. Fiamma was the first of many women to make her mark in owning the company, making way for those who would later shape and mold the brand into what we know it now.
4. Valentino Small V Sling Bag – (₱250,000)

Hae-in is seen carrying the bag in episode 2 overhearing her parents in the garden. She brought another embellished version of the V-sling bag with her in episode 7 when she found out that Hyun-Woo had secretly been giving money to a department store employee whose mother passed away.

This bag is a little bigger than Valentino’s Locò bag. It has a longer strap, a top handle, and more space but maintains its stylish look.
5. Brillant Black MM Delvaux – (₱500,000)

Hae-in is seen with this bag in episode 3 where she meets with Hyun-Woo’s older siblings. In episode 4 she takes an ivory version with her that matches her all-white outfit going to her father-in-law’s reelection campaign as head of Yongdu-ri.

Delvaux is the oldest fine leather luxury goods company in the world located in Belgium. This was originally made in 1958 and was created from 64 different leather pieces! It has an architectural-inspired design and remains one of the most iconic bags today.
6. Chanel White Quilted Duma Backpack – (₱320,000)

Spotted this bag at the start of episode 3 in a flashback where Hyun-Woo shows Hae-in around his village for the first time.

Chanel is a world-renowned fashion brand based in France founded in 1910. Most commonly known for their fragrances and accessories, they also create high-quality designer bags. This Chanel backpack is from the 2022 collection which features quilted aged calfskin leather and gold tone chain-links.
7. Small Lady Dior Bag – (₱400,000)

This bag is with her in episode 5 in the flashback scene at the restaurant where Hyun-Woo’s older sister tries to pay her to break up with him when they are still dating. She also carries a cherry red version of the bag (₱390,000) in another flashback when Hyun-Woo proposes to her at the aquarium in episode 8.

This is the most iconic bag from Dior. It is created from lambskin leather cuts, sewn together in a Cannage quilt. Giving it a sophisticated yet balanced look. The black gives a more sophisticated, opulent look. While the red is very vibrant and eye-catching.
8. Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag – (₱270,000)

In episode 5, she is seen wearing a woven long-sleeved peach shirt from Nº21 and matching trousers with the Galleria Saffiano bag from Prada when she is caught by her aunt at the hospital.

This timeless bag released in 2007, the Galleria is named after the place where Prada’s first store was opened. The bag is made from Prada’s iconic Saffiano leather which gives it a sturdy but refined look.
9. Celine Claude Tan Bag – (₱205,000)

She is seen having this bag by her side in episode 6 on her trip to Germany with Hyun-Woo for her possible treatment.

The Claude is one of the smaller but most iconic bags from the brand. Made from natural calf leather and has an adjustable strap, this luxury bag has a smooth aesthetic feel.
10. Celine Small 16 Satinated Black Bag – (₱250,000)

In episode 6, she has the bag alongside a convertible-collar self-tie black shirt from Lemaire, gold Clash de Cartier earrings from Cartier just before she finds out from her parents that Hyun-Woo plans to divorce her.

First seen on Lady Gaga’s Instagram in 2018, this bag was named “The 16” after the location of Celine’s original headquarters at 16 Rue Vivienne. It’s simple and curved design gives it a look of elegance.
11. Manhattan In Box Saint Laurent – (₱190,000)

In episode 7, she has the bag on her shoulder in the scene where they return to South Korea from the airport after finding out Hyun-Woo planned to divorce her. But in episode 14, a white version is also by her side when she’s dressed in white having second thoughts about the surgery because she can possibly lose her memories.

Saint Laurent is a pioneer in the complete merging of art and fashion on the runway. This particular bag is designed with a thin belt which adjusts the bag’s opening by tightening or loosening it. It can be worn crossbody or carried with a top handle.
12. Valentino Rockstud Leather Bag – (₱240,000)

Episode 7 shows her in a stunning red dress and a double-breasted wool blazer crafted by Balmain. Including an 18-carat rose gold and diamond Serpenti Viper necklace, rose gold Serpenti Viper earrings, and a yellow gold and diamond Serpenti Viper bracelet, all by Bvlgari.

15. Vunque Trapeze Classic Small Shoulder Bag Black – (₱20,000)

Vunque is a new fashion brand started by South Korean designer Seok Jeong-hye in 2018. Coming from the Italian word “Ovunque,” meaning ‘anywhere.’
This compact bag has a nice glossy appearance, push-lock buckle and an adjustable strap.
16. Cartier Double C Mini Shoulder Bag – (₱170,000)

This bag is seen by her side in episode 13 when she is about to move out of Baek family’s home to stay at Hyun-Woo’s apartment, so she can later undergo surgery in Germany to cure her brain condition.

Cartier is a luxury brand recognized worldwide because of its watches and jewelry. But has also created one of the iconic luxury bags.
The double C bag named because of the two combined letters also make up its clasp. Its smooth shape and well crafted lines make it a luxury bag classic pairable with any outfit.
17. Moynat Gabrielle Handbag Pink – (₱210,000)

Hae-in is seen holding this bag in the final episode of the series where she and Hyung-Woo talk about what went wrong during her past miscarriage and how they plan to move forward together.

The Moynat Gabrielle handbag was inspired by a previous design from the brand’s Limousine Trunk. Its small, simple, and bright pink design makes it one of the best quiet luxury bags.
